It's a phenethylamine, so chemically it's closer related to MDMA than psychedelics like LSD or psilocybin, especially in lower doses. I won't take synthetic drugs like ecstasy even though I know it can help people with social functioning, so this sounds like maybe a good alternative. I get out and i...

We'll probably go during the day to this cemetery here that has a vampire crypt (town legend) and sit overlooking the river having a picnic and reading scary stories in a million fake accents. Then we'll get dressed up and I don't know what. I need to get a wig - I want to be the bride of frankenst...

I prefer being self employed or doing freelance work. Most employers don't understand AS, if they've even heard of it at all, and aren't very good at providing accomodations. It's a huge relief not to worry about having to work in difficult conditions, such as being in a bright or loud environment. ...

It sounds like bad advice, but what worked for me was avoiding them and cutting negative people out of my life as much as possible. Ignoring it and letting it happen just made it worse. Sometimes when I fought back, I'd be the one to get in trouble while the bullies would stand by laughing as I was ...

Why are so many females b*****s? Why do they engage in mean spirited activitis like gossip and spreading lies about people, or stabbing their "friends" in the back over petty things? Why do they resort to tearing down other females to feel good about themselves? When I think back over all the people...

It used to be my favorite holiday as a kid but has really lost its magic since I've grown up. Everyone I know goes to parties, but it's something I absolutely hate and feel uncomfortable doing. Every Halloween party I've been to has consisted of people in slu*ty costumes making small talk and gettin...

I hate to say it because I've had illegal friends before and found them to be hard workers that often deserve to be here more than some lazy Americans do, but it's true. My social skills are so poor that I can't handle a service or office job for more than a month before being fired, yet I excel at ...

I've abused benadryl. That possibly was the worst/best experience of my life. I was talking to people who were not there, smoking phantom cigarettes, seeing all these weird twitching transparent visuals, and the most prominent effect was hearing people talking to me. Probably the worst thing about ...

The trouble is sometimes we unintentionally offend normal people without even knowing we've done it, so it's possible that you've accidentally done so during conversation with customers. Does your manager know that you have AS? If he doesn't, it might be a good idea to bring it up with him when you ...

When I was 22, I moved to another state where I didn't know anyone. Unlike a lot of people, I don't have family spread out all over the country, so it was the risk I took. I learned that you'll be okay anywhere as long as you can financially survive. Since the economy has tanked, a lot of people (NT...

I try to eat well and avoid things like manmade chemicals and drugs, along with mindless activities like television. I get out into nature as much as possible and stay active. I don't meditate these days, but a lot of people do and get great benefits from it, so it can't hurt to try. Here's a place ...

I've been looking for the longest time and can only find groups for kids or parents with autistic spectrum kids. It's very frustrating, especially considering that adults with AS are often on their own in the world and might need these services more than kids who have parents to look after them. It'...

This requirement isn't as bad as it seems. They're just looking for someone who can take and give input to others. If you ever did a school project as a group before, and it went well, you likely have the skills they want. What happens when group projects ended up in a disaster? I always either: 1....

I've looked for courier jobs but none were hiring when I called, and I think you have to take classes to be a cab driver in California. (At least, that's what I've been told) I also looked into local community/trade colleges but can't get in until spring semester. I'm going to try and get a seasonal...
