@The Perfect Storm I agree with some of your criticisms, honestly that whole paragraph was mostly a flurry of ideas I wanted to throw out (a little over passionate at times actually). Obviously not all of it was explored (hence the vagueness of it all) but there are a few more things I'd like to add...

If a ret*d man were to save a child from a burning building would his action be made less significant by the fact that he has a low IQ? Is it innately virtuous to be an NT; are all non-autistic people righteous by birth? No. And this changes what exactly? 1. I think that men make themselves, not ti...

Dean's list here, don't let anyone tell you that autism is synonymous with retardation (if they do, don't believe it), it's a ridiculous misconception that many of us on a day to day basis prove without a doubt is absolutely incorrect. Look up ASAN, see the kind of things we can do if we stop basing...

O'Donovan clan here, plenty of things interesting in my family as far as I'm concerned, lots of notable people and whatnot. Perhaps my ancestors will be amazed when they trace their blood lines back to me? Probably.

So, I've never been to an institution like Harvard or Cornell, but despite this face these kind of places always held a kind of romance in my eyes. I suppose it's the allure of prestige and intellectuality that surrounds them that intrigues me (or perhaps something else). So I have to ask, for the i...

You know what I hate? When people come on here talking about how they have some sort of degree and can't find employment, yet refuse to inform anyone on what kind of degree they hold, where they went, how long they went, etc. Just saying that you "did stuff" in "something" with "some kind of qualifi...

I don't go to Mcmaster but I'm curious as to what exactly an AS group would do. Also wouldn't there be issues with being part of such a group, or running it for that matter? (I personally keep my state secret for fear of bigotry, pity, etc). I seriously admire you for even considering being part of ...
