Social situations make my head pound before long. If I had to maintain a conversation or remain in a group of people my head starts pounding and I can't concentrate. It makes me feel tired and drained. It's driving me up the wall having headaches every day, does anybody else experience this and/or ...

I guess I just have to learn to balance it. I just wish I could cope in those situations for longer. @ Dingo7 I only get a bad stomach if I feel really anxious.

I'm glad you understand. I've been thinking about it over the last 3 days, it would be a good experience to work with somebody of a similar nature. How to do so however - musicians have collaborated over YouTube and such, by dividing instruments and tasks up but I think collectively introducing idea...

Thank you, as do you! I apologise for the slow reply. I hopefully to progress into a more original innovative realm in the 'Milambre' realm. I know exactly how you feel about the meatspace as you call it. It's all well being able to sell yourself online but as soon as it comes to reality you need to...

I think altruism is a survival technique that social animals employ. Because it probably evolved in our ancestors many millions of years ago it has become instinctive. However, it battles with the ego and self interest in some people. I doubt very much that we would have made it to civilization wit...

The very concept of "altruism" is simply a device that unethical religious leaders use to convince good people that they are truly evil and depraved, and I quite frankly consider it to be offensive, uncouth, uncivilized and vulgar for that very reason. Human beings in general tend to be compassiona...

I would love for you to hear my music cornelius6. A lot of the more experimental stuff is still in the air. I have parts of things completed and such, I think you far more accomplished a composer than I. I just left college, I made an EP there of my music but it is more leaning towards the 'metal' r...

While I do do not like to think myself as a selfish person and by contrast of lacking social desire I do find myself concerned with the well being of society - which led me to an interest in left-wing politics. I would hold the door open for somebody or attempt to help somebody if they were in need....

:D I like your music. I am a musician also, I just finished a music course with only a pass because 75% of the criteria was group related even though I feel to be a far more advanced than my peers in the realm of musical theory, song writing and technical ability. It frustrates the hell out of me th...

I am the same. I've learnt a lot recently about social skills, but having made a lot of mistakes I think I have come forward. I have the same problem with my brain feeling like it's overheating if I'm exposed to a social situation for too long, so I'm glad it's not just me. Other people I think have...

Thank you for the response. I told her what 'AS' is roughly speaking. She has had a go at me for things that might be obvious (though I am aware this might be typical of female behaviour anyway) socially - I told her that what might be obvious to you isn't obvious to me which I think she herself has...

I've been in a relationship with a girl for 6 months. But we're fighting all of the time, she feels like I'm not interested in her or our relationship and that we never seem to talk to each other. I find that really difficult. I know that I have feelings for her even though I have a great difficulty...

In general I do it all the time. I have experienced panic attacks also in the past (generally in social situations of something I am uncomfortable with). None the less it's a habit I am compelled to be in mutual agreement with. I've read that it is associated with autism. However I do not understand...
