My non-verbal 19 month old does not have a dx yet, but I am positive that he is just like me, but anyways...How do I make him understand that he can't throw things at the dogs?? He loves to throw their toys and play with them, but how do I make the distinction between acceptable throwing (fetch, etc...

First off, you are very brave for saying this. I also do this, but haven't actually plucked my pubes for years...these days I just have to shave it or trim it...but all my life I've pulled out my hair...I also used to pluck my leg hair, armpits, and I used to pull out fists full of hair in elementar...

Aw! (hugs) I experienced this not that long ago. My 19 month old son used to have long and gorgeous curls which I was intensely reluctant to cut off because he looked so sweet, but it really did upset me each time we went out and someone would invariably call him a her... So I let my partner get the...

I f'n love this show!! LOL! Much to the chagrin of my son and partner...but as the only girl in the house...tough! I actually still have my extensive MLP collection from my childhood, and it was one thing my mom commented on during my assessment.

Does your mother possibly have undiagnosed Asperger's? Some parents write off the behaviour of their kids because it's "normal" for them. This. My mom tried several times to talk me out of going to my assessment. I also thought she would go far enough to sabotage it for me once we got there. When I...

1) Are you single or married? How do you feel about it and why? I'm in a committed long-term relationship with the hopes of marrying in the future when my divorce becomes final. 2) How many relationships you've had? 2 serious, several not worth mentioning. 3) Where did you both meet? My partner and...

I love tattoos and I find some of them quite sexy on the right individual. I personally have 8 tats, and plans for more, and I really don't give a s**t if other people think they're ugly or whatever. My ex husband flipped when I got my lower back tattoo (tramp stamp I suppose, although that term had...

To answer your question KevinLA , it is NOT wrong at all to have those feelings. I don't even find anything wrong with voicing those feelings either... After my great-grandmother died, I felt immense guilt because I was secretly happy. She was a horrible person to me in life and made my life a total...

I've had this happen too...Apparently the person who contacted me was a 'troll' and was removed, but I am still intensely disappointed in how it was handled by Alex and the moderators...especially since I had full intentions on pressing criminal charges against this person who lived in the next city...
