What an amazing resource! There are so many books I'll have to go look up now.

I second the recommendations for Parenting a Child with Asperger Syndrome by Brenda Boyd, and Parent Effectiveness Training by Thomas Gordon. Both really helpful on a day-to-day level.

How is your principal? We've dealt with a number of issues at my daughter's school, and luckily the principal is great. I don't know if I can be helpful with advice, but I empathize! It seems like so many schools are so stuck in their bureaucratic rules that they are unwilling to do anything different, even when it makes sense.
