I am a very intelligent person. my entire life people have been telling me how much potential I have, usually by telling me how I am not living up to it. I am also a very lazy person. I procrastinate, I forget things. I don't study. I have progressed as far as I have simply by coasting. never satisf...

Naturalist, GravitySpazer and Turquoise773. I would like to preface this by saying that while I have experienced depression before, I never experienced anything so bad as what you have described. I am also more than likely much younger than all of you. That said: I have found that one of the easiest...

I was a brand new player in the waning days of 4rth edition. I played 1 campaign of that, then the shop I went to switched to playtesting 5e. I loved it so much that now that I'm away at college, I have made the decision that the role playing club is basically dead to me until they can run 5e games....

Those are all very significant and relevant subjects, but you are overestimating the scope of this paper. This is a generalized, short (for a research paper anyway) freshman level paper. So while I agree with you that such a study would be pretty cool, it is way outside my ability to perform. I need...

When adults used to tell me to "calm down, take deep breathes and relax" I used to think they were nuts. did they think that I could possibly just will away my problems?! ! I would get so tense that I used to hyperventilate, talk really fast, stomp, things like that. As I've gotten older, I have men...

For my writing seminar course I have to write a research paper on a topic of my own choice. I decided to write it about AS, since I already know alot about given that I have it. however, this led me to once again bump my head into my old nemesis, Topic Specificity. This a formal research paper, not ...

I do try to help her. I tell her about my experiences back when I had the same problem, and how I solved it. I try to get the others off her back. But she pushes me away saying things like " your not my mother" or "I don't need any help" Perhaps I havn't been clear enough This is a cyclical reaction...

I don't know if this fits in the haven but here it goes anyway When I was a lowerclassemen,(high school) there were some guys on my bus that REALLY pissed me off. They annoyed me every single day, and when I would try to call them out for it, they would bully me. This went on for freshman, sophomore...

Granted. You are unanimously elected president at the age of 14. However, due to a diplomatic mess-up, you accidentally start world war 3

I wish I could go on vacation to Italy

We used to this in my 5th grade class.

The off topic award goes to...

Bill, otherwise known as Kraichgauer

for turning this from an argument about social policy in the US government into a discussion of the gender of a human-hybrid creature from an anime
