Hey I have allways been interesting in structural analysis, mechanics and math. But during my time in university I had a nervous breakdown. For some months now I have tought that maybe engineering wasn't for me. I have contempleated studying something else, but nothing catches my interest like mecha...

Aspie here, with a borderline aspie wife. We both always wanted to have children, and we now have two, and are planning on a third. I don't find that Asperger interferes with my interaction with the children at all - I think I do so more than the average father - though my wife does need time away ...

Just something about people and their plans for a "master race" disgusts me. It disgusts me too. It makes me want to throw up. I have NO siblings and my parents' want grandchildren, so I am sort of stuck having children. I'm still young but I do like the idea of having children. I'm female and diag...

What are your opinions of this? Are you an aspie with dreams of having children? I am myself a person with asperger syndome. Having children really frightens me, and I would panic if I made a girl pregnant. It seems that children are really hard work, and I allways think my parents would have had a ...

If you were advertising jobs this would be great. But you want 75 000 USD!! If, this is legit, which I don't know. What do you want to accomplish here? Personally I think this is the wrong place to fund-raise for this project. You say you want us to spread the word, but how do we know how legit or e...

I am an accountant, and I am very happy with my profession. As said before, every company needs one and if you're good at what you're doing you'll not have problems finding a job. Internal accountants in companies are really not expected to be social, but they are expected to be 'a bit strange'. Us...

My sister prepares quarterly reports for small companies, so a couple times a week she visits a client or a client visits her. There can be several calls a day near the end of a quarter, and given that there are a variety of fiscal years in use, there's some regular rate of telephone conversation, ...

I am not an accountant but one of my sisters is. The joke about accountants is: Q: "How do you tell if your accountant is an extrovert?" A: "He stares at YOUR shoes while talking to you" I can tell you from what she has complained about in their difficulty in hiring new associates at the firm she w...

Hello people. It is so sad for me to write this. But I really need advice. Let me start with my story: I have done 2,5 year of a 5 year engineering study. During these years I did really well, and got excellent grades. I really enjoyed courses like mathematics and physics. I am really good at learni...
