Keep in mind that it does happen to most people, not only aspies.

I know it's just not AS. :)

A part of AS is often viewed as a executive functioning disorder,(e.g. poor time management, poor organization skills, so on and so on), so that's why I had the poll.

I noticed that there are a lot of common traits between a Loveshy and someone with Asperger's. Let me shoot the first question: Does Asperger's affect mostly men? Loveshyness affects males mostly. Personally, I would like a link to your other group, it sounds interesting. To your question, asperger...

I am also interested about whethere the reason I am addicted to eating spagghetti/pasta raw and cooked is to do with Cassien or Gluten. That is a very interesting point to bring up. I have a non-mild aspie roommate who will only eat pasta and meat. I also have a HFA friend who is on the gluten-free...

Even though some of us may dislike sexism and stereotyping, we're only a few people. In the end it's all about giving people what they want, and given that the majority of gamers are young horny males, that mainly means sex. Most men are sexist. Most video gamers are desparate. Most graphics are da...

I think I feel you here with this one. I wasn't talking in full sentences until I was 3. It was mostly fragmented words and grunts. After 3, I was reading and talking and doing really well. And I wasn't dx'ed til last year! It's funny how all of the pieces fit together.

For me, Vitamin C seems to help. And I agree, excerise is great. It is VERY important to keep moving. Join the local YMCA or a health club. It's is also pretty to be around people. It prevents you from isolating and forces to you to socialize, even at a minimum level.

To me how sensitive one is, based on what a group one has been associated with isn't an issue. At the very least, 'right' and 'wrong' aren't things that can really be measured. Personally, I believe the past actions of major actions of groups in the past do affect sensitivity of people currently. C...

When I was younger say in middle school, I was real heavy into the Star Trek. I would always speak in terms of logic, I had the technical manual for TNG and DS9 and I had a bunch of books like "The Metaphysics of Star Trek", "The Biology of Star Trek" and so on. Not so much anymore, but I still appr...

You also see a lot of shirtless muscle bound freaks blowing up things, which is itself also sexist. It's kinda different thou. Historically, men have been the ones oppressing women. Yes, technically I agree with you, however once you take the history into account, men shouldn't be as sensitive as w...

I used to have this problem. I can remember useless strings of information or numbers but forget where I've left my keys, so I devised a simple system of attaching everything to my purse which is too large to get really lost for long. I tried remembering to put everything down in the same place, bu...

Personally this is a major problem for me. I lose my cell phone for weeks on end, can't find ID cards to go places and sometimes lose my wallet. Luckily I almost always find them again, but this is a major stresser for me. I tried to put my important things in a specific location, but I just forget ...

You can thank the religious crazies in the US for the mentally disturbed idea that nudity is wrong. Yet another example of the harm that religion does to society.

If religion was somehow able to get realistic females in video gaming- although I don't know how- I personally would be all for it.

Yes, I have been using this concept bit by bit to increase how I socialize. To answer your question, Yes! You can make eye contact with people as you walk by them, if you notice they make eye contact back, it is 100% OK to say Hi or Hello to them. And yes, it will seems weird at first, but that's wh...

I like this method, but the idea of it is not to at once be extraverted and whatnot. It is about being a little bit our of your comfort zone at a time. Like make eye contact with 3 people a week, then say Hi to two people you don't know, and so on
