Thanks! It is pretty great. ;) I'm pretty close to my mom but she was one of the ones who tried to get me to stop with the world. Partly because when I'm really not wanting to be close to someone or friends with someone I start talking about my characters like they're real. It's actually kind of a t...

So it's known that aspies create their own worlds. Mine, for a very long time has been a world where all of my book characters are (I'm a writer). My family often told me (before they knew I had Asperger's) that I was way too old to have "imaginary friends" but if I tried to leave that world and do ...

I'm hoping when the thyroid is taken care of I'll be able to get the rest of the anxiety taken care of. But things that trigger me are things like dating, social situations, and essentially being on my own (I live with my parents). There are a lot more triggers. Those are just to name a few. But eve...

I'm having such a hard time. I don't know enough about what the difference between panic disorder and aspie anxiety is. Is crippling anxiety though and meds not therapists have been able to help me so does that mean my anxiety is something bein caused by having Asperger's? It's getting worse for som...

What kinda of ways do you guys struggle with having AS? For me I feel like I have to change because it's the only way I can get through my struggles. But so love who I am and I love having AS. And I don't want to give it up. Granted, I know I'll always be an aspie but it'll be hidden. Or is it all i...

I want a service dog or....a therapy dog I guess, for my panic disorder which is partially caused by AS. Does anyone know the process of getting one if I wanted to make my own dog - therapy dog instead of buying an already trained one?

Thanks guys. It's so good to not be alone. And it's so nice to have people who understand. I really hope I find the solution.

I am an Aspie....who has been suffering through panic disorder for a year or two. It's just getting worse despite the medicine and therapy I've been given. I feel so hopeless but not suicidal. I guess just having this so long and so bad, I'm getting more and more scared where it's going. Is there an...

You have PTSD? That is so relieving to hear. Well I mean of course I would never wish that on you but it's nice to hear from someone else who has Asperger's. I suffer from panic disorder and at night I get so panicky about just everything! And my therapist doesn't seem to understand. They keep tryin...

Sometimes it's so frustrating that doctors haven't studied more on autism.

I'm not sure exactly what she specializes in. I think she's like a relaxation therapist. If there's any such thing. My aspie therapist told me to go to her for a few sessions before he'd let me see him again. But I know those on the autism spectrum have brains that are wired differently. So maybe th...
