Bend my thumbs 180 degrees down, then the other 4 fingers down on both hands while doing this weird thing with my nose and throat. Like an internal cough.

When I'm invited somewhere I'm encouraged to go because it will be "good for me". I dispute this. I don't see how the elevated levels of anxiety and stress can possibly be "good for me". I usually don't say much, feel awkward because I don't know how to stand or sit so I feel relaxed and I can't fo...

If you are a teen or adult please describe what things occur when you get invited somewhere with "cool" NT people and by this, I mainly mean how do people respond to you? Is there a recurring theme? Do you have depression because you always screw up and cannot understand why you keep getting reject...

No one likes me either, a girl I liked actually pushed me and called me a weirdo. Another girl supposedly a friend said that I'm arrogant and rude or something of that effect, and I really wasn't trying to be. I get rejected in dating, in family relationships, in friendships (except one friend I am ...

It depends on who you define as cool. It can be whatever your definition of cool is, which is why it is in quotation. For me this means people who are outgoing, have lots of friends and social contacts, and who people seem to like and gravitate towards. My personal experience with this has been ext...

Saying it (low bmi) would kill most people is untrue. Bodybuilders and athletes regularly have very low bmi, I wouldn't say all of them are unhealthy. I think having 20% body fat, which is apparently within the normal range for a woman, is a bit gross on somebody with my build and I'd have more hea...

Thank you for replying. Your case is quite atypical, but it's good that you at least are not bmi 8 anymore. That would kill most people.

I just want to know if any other people here suffer with it and have food aversions. I won't share my stats but I have a bmi of 18 which I know isn't a big deal but just wanted to talk about it. I became ill at 16, I am now 23, when I started to become fascinated with clavicles and body fat percenta...

I am 23 and a girl but I also relate a lot to this. I say things which seem so strange and out of tune with other people, so I've become more silent and blunt as opposed to verbally humiliating myself again. I would rather be seen as too serious than a complete weirdo or creep. Even so, I still am s...

Is there anyone here who likes alcohol too much?
I am starting to drink every day for my anxiety and depression. I am constantly worried about the future, and regretting the past. I cannot find a happy medium. The present is just agonizingly slow and torturous.
