Hello everyone ~

I'm brand new to the forums as of yesterday and wanted to introduce myself. Last night I started a new thread in the Women's Forum. You're all welcome to check it out and let me know what you think (both women and men alike). Here's the link:

That thread is part of my introduction, but here I also wanted to say this:

Becoming a part of this multi-age, multi-gender (all two of them; sounds funny) community has given me a point of focus. All day long I kept thinking about all of you and how incredible it feels knowing that I finally belong to something that helps me make sense of my entire life. What Alex has accomplished with this website is pretty darn awesome, and for that I'm grateful.

Soon I'm launching a humor blog and look forward to sharing it with you. I'm really hoping that my views and personal experiences/commentary will help draw people together and encourage open dialogue with those who aren't on the spectrum. Meanwhile I'll be bouncing around in the forums and welcome meeting new friends.

Welcome. It is educational to read other people's experiences. Knowing about others and their experiences may give some perspective to other people's lives, too.
