Same as the question: Which group at school do you feel most accepted in?

For me, it's the Band.

In my school, it was the outcasts.

Of course, we were known as the guidence office groupies at the time because we hung out at the guidence office to use the computers (mostly for games of course  )

I didn't even fit in with the outcasts, because it felt too easy to fit in with "uncool lowlifes". When I was at school I wanted to fit in with the "cool people" and it wasn't until I left school that I realised that the cool people weren't so great, and had I known that at the time I would've been friends with the outcasts so I could get revenge...

I'm in a group of five people - the outcasts of the outcasts. Two of us could probably fit in with the rest of the year, but me and Fleo have *always* been there. And then Beki's new. But I don't really mind, I wouldn't give the SG up for the world.

I can't remember if I've said this here before, but when I was at school, I was rejected by the rejects, but then when I went to these programs for people with poor social skills etc., I was on the top end of popularity.

I was essentially an outcast. For the most part, I really didn't fit in at all, and finally managed to "Slip through the cracks".

I didn't even fit in the with the outcasts.

In junior high, the outcast were all the special ed students, some of who were ret*d amongst other things.

In high school, the outcasts were the "trench coat mafia" people. Acutally, they all wore dusters, but still, I never really found a group to fit into.

It wasn't until I was a senior in high school - 1997, that I actually I could claim that I would have a friend.

I didn't fit in any group. I had a few friends and we were our own "group." Band people were the elite snobs... I certainly didn't fit with ANY of them, especially since I wasn't IN the band. And I didn't play sports. The other gifted students were all in the band or in sports, so that also left me out of the crowd even with most of my classmates. I was on the school newspaper and yearbook staffs. Not the most sought after kind of girl.

The group that I hang out with at school is mostly a united group of misfits. There's not really any other group that we could hang out with, so we all just eat lunch and talk in the physics lab. :)

In middle school I was the kid who had so many bad rumors going around, if anyone even attempted to befriend me, they'd be branded by the rest of the school body as a/an [expletive deleted]. I got beat up real bad in middle school, but high school was actually a lot better.

In high school I was never really in any social group, though I *GOT ALONG* with most. I was on an academic team that actually had a lot of jocks and preppy types on it, and got along with them fine. I even got along well with a couple of the artsy types. I didn't have many real friends (i.e. go and hang out on weekends friends), but the people I was friends with AT SCHOOL were like completely random people from every social aspect imaginable--a jock here, an artsy type there, a punk there, etc.

I mostly kept to myself during my school years but in high school, since the choir I was in demanded so much time for class, after-school practice and performances, I spent the majority of my time with other choir members. They all thought I was weird but were kind of protective of me since I was so quiet and acted younger than my age.

I didn't fit in with anyone at all. I did speak to a hung around some students (mainstream, remidials, and others), but I never really associated myself with them. Some students I am thankful for not fitting in with. I knew them, but they were those who did things that I wouldn't favor. At least they never bothered me.
Some, I eventually thought was okay, but then teasing and insults pushed drove me away, like they cared if I walked away.

I spent my time walking around the campus and watching everyone else communicate. I hope I didn't scare anyone while I stared but I suppose they saw me as harmless.

But at least I wasn't an outcast though, as many students knew me well, and respected me. Same with faculty and administrators.
