Hmm... are you measuring just the number of conflicts vs deaths, or are you measuring the GDP losses from war over time(such as factories being destroyed and such). I think Orwell would argue that a measurement that takes into account a relationship between GDP(as a percent of world GDP) and war would be fairer as his argument is based upon economic development. As certainly we haven't had a direct war between powers since WW2.

In any case, that chart only goes to the end of WWII, and chever said "I don't see that changing anytime soon" which is pretty BS because it changed right after his chart ends, which by now was more than 60 years ago.

Karma does not exist, and the Europeans have nothing to pay for. They changed, they no longer treat other ethnicities as inferior, at least no more than any other ethnic group on individual scales. It's ridiculous...

I do not live in Europe, so you would be able to speak better than I about European perspective of race. However, I quite agree with this part of your statement.

ignoring the rest of the thread, which seems to have something to do with graphs, i would like to proclaim my whiteness and my preference for chocolate chip cookies. homemade, not that crap from the store.

Yes, I guess you never really know

For example, you might be abducted by space aliens every night and never really know

But anyway, the idea of karma is briefly entertaining in lieu of anything of substance

Ha Ha. You would think after all this time, someone would have come up with a better racial slur for whites. Even redneck isn't all that bad. My husband gets all bent when I call him a redneck. He says...I'm not a redneck! I say...Well, you need to tell your neck that because it sure is red. :D (he sunburns easily)

Well, there is also the term honky. It is derived from a slang term for Hungarians. Interestingly, I was always taught that this term was from a practice of the white man when seeking prostitutes. Very different things I think.

I have not heard the term honky since that old show, The Jeffersons.
