Why do movement ultraconservatives feel entitled to respect?
Oh yeah, Fox News............ 'Did you hear that from Rush Limbaugh?' I forgot how brainwashed we were by the 'Conservative media blowhards'.....
........ As CNN airs such shows as "Black in America," and "Latino in America." Give me a break....
Yep, we get force-fed all of our info from those gas-bag conservative news sources. We're just feeding lines that they subliminally indoctrinated into us.

It says a lot about someone's leadership skills and critical thinking skills when they assume that everyone needs to pick a news organization to think for them. ![]()

^ Yeah, sometimes I sit around and watch Fox News and COPS for HOURS ! !! Then, after I've properly digested every iota of material, I go on the internet and spit all of the lines back out verbatum on internet forums. That's just how I do it.
(Please note that I'm being sarcastic and I don't especially follow Fox News or hold them in any higher or lower regard as a valid news source than any other outlet.)
Leftists hate the fact though that Fox News is the one major news network that is actually willing to regularly report incidents of minority crimes. This does not fit well and is at odds with the brainwashing Leftists have received with regards to the character of ethnic minorities. It is shown that the reality of multiculturalism is conflicting with the idealistic utopian dream of diversity that has been inculcated in Leftists.
Leftists instead seem to prefer to watch CNN programming like 'Black and America' and "Latino in America.' These shows kick off with a header that goes something like "soon the minority will become the majority." I find it hilarious that Leftist-CNN can sit around and air lengthy programs that are nothing more than hours of 2 super-entitled minorities sitting around and talking about how awful they have it here in America(Even though Latino immigrants made a conscious choice to come to the USA on their own volition.)
Since the discussion has turned to FNC, just thought I'd throw out the little tidbit that while every other network was hyping the planned Koran BBQ in Florida to the point where the fricken' president felt the need to get involved, Fox nearly entirely ignored the story (details of this are up at Mediaite). I'm sure some people will claim that that's a tactical move not to report a nutcase in their own supposed house, but it still earns them a little respect in my book.

I live in the area that is covered by local stations from L.A. so they wouldn't hardly be able to do stories on crime if they didn't cover crimes committed by minorities (who often turn out to be alien invaders from Latin America). You never hear about people in Beverly hills getting drunk and killing their wife/gf/mistress in a fit of rage (unlike the Hispanic areas), or every other week hearing about someone there getting killed by a stray bullet fired a couple blocks away (unlike the black neighborhoods).

Some of the news stations are just as bad going in the other direction............... Giving the stereotype that white males are largely the perverts, pedophiles, rapists, serial-killers, and meth-dealers hanging around in society.
Most of the local news won't hesitate to report any white guy who commits a crime. They're always all over it whenever swastikas get spray-painted on a mosque or something like that. They always cover something that goes on in a trailer park like a guy in a wife-beater getting busted for meth or something like that. As much as the liberal media ignores black crime, they love to over-hype white crime when it goes on.
When some middle-class white guy does something, that is like gold to the liberal media and they can plaster his face everywhere and say, "LOOKIE HERE ! !!"
Mabye its just though that people expect blacks to commit crimes, and its not really news when a shooting happens in East STL for the zillionth time. Mabye when blacks commit crimes, the liberal media knows that the white-viewer reaction will just be 'whatever,' or "surprise surprise." Catching respectable middle-class white people will get more ratings. Perhaps it hits home more when people see 'one of their own,' doing something egregious.
If by evening news, you mean Fox "news" then you should seriously consider finding some actual news sources from which to get your info.
I usually don't watch cable news channels.
It is jolly good entertainment. Especially Fox. CNN is a crashing bore and their news women do not score high on the Babe Factor. I never watch MSNBC.

In my Humanities textbooks, it actually says as much in the second chapter on "critical thinking" regarding how "traditionalists" don't actually think but only spout what they've heard from their "biased" sources. I can't believe that I'm going to be repaying loans to support the propagation of such garbage... it really is rank, the stench of actual bias emanating from the lousy excuses for "educational" material at the college I am currently enrolled in. Yet, it seems, they cannot perceive that they also have a bias, it is only when something is said in opposition to their own thoughts, or dogma rather, that they have the ability to register bias - but only among their adversaries and never among themselves.
One of my friends on Facebook, who has a PhD in physical chemistry, had said in one of his statuses that "anyone with an IQ above freezing has a bias", and provided the veracity of that statement, the real issue is not so much discounting anyone's statements because they honestly and openly display a bias, but rather acknowledging that everyone is biased in some manner or another and going from there. People who dwell upon the biases of others, as a result, obfuscate the actual issues of the debate and unrealistically pretend that everyone against their thoughts are subjective while they, on the other hand, possess actual objectivity itself. Such is the environment of blindness produced today by the wonders of bureaucracy based education (I think).

A system that turns a predominantly White nation into a so-called multicultural one is anti-White by definition, just as a system that turned China into a multicultural state would be anti-Chinese. This is true regardless of whether you understand or care about it, and regardless of the comfort of your own existence.
Of course, it's often easier to bask in false morality than to face the facts of life.
Uh huh. Right. Sure.
"You can't make an analogy between White people and Chinese people because ... well ... you just can't!"
Whites are a genetic kinship group, and the Chinese are a genetic kinship group. "Chinese" is not a name given to a single language, but to a family of languages (including Mandarin, Wu and Cantonese). The Chinese people themselves can be further divided into groups such as the Han and the Manchu.

Since your assumption of the housing crisis being caused by entitled minorities and ACORN was:
1. Flat out wrong given what actually took place
2. A Fox "news" talking point
3. A right-wing talk radio talking point (which is basically the same as #2)
What other conclusion could one draw? Did you just make it up on your own? When people spout disinformation that is identical to the disinformation being repeated endlessly by the right wing media, it is logical to think they might be getting information from that source. Perhaps you acquired it from some other right-wing blog or something. Because unless you are a banker, finance person, or work for ACORN, you had to get that information from somewhere. And since mainstream, legitimate news sources didn't denigrate ACORN the way that Fox "news" did, it's a logical conclusion. Since I did a semesters worth of analysis of the major sources of news for a research paper, I am able to make some inferences here on who was saying what at the time.
Nice that you are unable to address my analysis of what really caused the housing crisis so instead you insult my critical thinking skills.

This idea that the media deliberately plays up white crime and plays down minority crime is nonsense. The prevailing image of minority people is as criminals - this certainly is not the case with white people. It's not very well-known that white people for instance use drugs as much as anyone else does but the police just aren't interested in trying to get them into prison for such. This is why the whites are in prison less for drug crimes, it's a matter of trying to find drug users and lock them up.
At any rate, something like a financial crisis and blame is a function of power. Powerless people cannot by definition cause a financial crisis. ACORN never was powerful, for if it was it wouldn't have been taken down by a snot-nosed kid and a pathological liar as it was. The idea that it can get banks, which got the government to hand over to them the keys of the vault, to do their bidding is a bad joke.

If my views are the same as the right wing media it is purely coincidence. However, you are still being really hung up on judging people's opinions based on what media source you think they listen to.

Once again, you fail to address the incorrectness of your assumption that ACORN and minority lending caused the housing crisis. You are entitled to your own opinion (whether or not it is influenced by media choice), but you are not entitled to your own facts.

Of course they wouldn't do that.
Really? Its always the creepy white guys that people are admonished to beware as the perverts and creeps, etc. And I've seen too many media stereotypes to count of poor whites using drugs and Meth. 'Hillbilies' can still be targeted by media jibes.
MTV and other channels aimed at younger viewers by contrast seem to constantly portray minorities as the 'cool and hip' individuals in our society. This culminated with the Obama mass-media campaign in 2008 in which he became the fresh jive alternative to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
I don't know why people still insist that blacks and other minorities are completely helpless and powerless? Minorities have tremendous influence over the hearts and minds of white people, as it has been inculcated in white people living today to be terrified of offending a minority....(a feeling based on 'guilt.')
For a white person to be labeled a 'racist,' that is the ultimate social stigma...... just falling short of 'pedophile.' The blacks and liberal whites have set up a huge system of peer pressure to tarnish anyone as a 'racist' who dares oppose them. If you express 'racist' views, you can lose your career, your social standing, etc.
It is pretty much the Inquisition all over again. Being a racist in this century is equivalent to what it used to mean to be a heretic.
That is how the liberal media brainwashing works anyway. The liberal media targets the most popular of the white NT kids with the black MTV culture. The popular white youth follow figures like Eminem and begin to adopt black fashions......... As most NT youth are extremely influenced by peer pressure, the rest follow suit and conform.
Black fashions are becoming the new cultural normative for 'millenials' in this manner.
