Faith No More made a song about Hillary's Campaign as early as 1989.

At least it means Hillary won't stack the court anti gun and so a trump election supports half the population who owns guns

 I doubt Hillary would've done much about guns, especially with senate+house being republican control.

In my view- gun control laws do need to be better, but the cowards in office refuse to change things. Especially when many are either in NRA themselves or just being bribed by NRA. Less shootings in USA should've been a thing a long time ago. More background checks and more waiting time isnt too much to ask! If gun owners have a problem with this- then I honestly think they are hiding something. Waiting more time to get your precious gun isnt the end of the world...

It takes months for you to get a handgun in Maryland. What are you suggesting, 10 years? Also if more gun control worked, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, L.A. and New York wouldn't have a high crime rate.

She wanted and planned to undue all pro gun court decisions since the country began. Especially heller. She planned to continue to use the illegal power of the pen to wage a war on gun rights. If she'd won we'd likely not even be allowed to have guns in 2 years.

They need to get less bad. Gun groups are planning to remove the NFA gradually starting with silencers, then sbrs then full auto guns. Along with making it so concealed carry permits are accepted nation wide just like driver licenses.

Sorry but ubc is horrible and will make felons of most gun owners and some people are put on an indefinite waiting list and end up dead from the people they needed to protect against

Looks like I will get slammed here, but here goes. I feel much safer with Trump as the President-elect than I have in the last 8 yrs with Obama as Pres. He did not stand up for America. Trump may say some crude things, but a lot of what he has said has been blown up by the media.

Bottom line----Hillary Clinton was the most corrupt politician to ever run for President and fortunately, we have the electoral college in place so that the voice of America (not just California, New York, and Illinois) could be heard loud and clear. NO MORE CLINTONS IN THE WHITEHOUSE. So many people I know voted Trump because they could not stand the thought of Hillary Clinton getting anywhere near the Whitehouse.

I am not sure what Trump will do, but I know for certain that he wants to put America first and I believe he will work for the American people. He went all around the country and listened to what the people wanted and that is how he won.

By the way, the fart analogy pretty much nails it.

If you don't mind me asking - how does the house make money that way? You said they'd be giving out an extra 2.2 zloty for each zloty put down on a bet for Trump, an extra .5 zloty if Hillary got elected - don't they lose money no matter what?

Not at all.

They are basically putting the money into a pool and the winners split that pool.

Suppose that there are three gamblers in the pool named Tom, Dick, and Harry. Suppose that Tom bet 15 zloty on Hillary, Dick bet 10 zloty on Trump, and Harry bet 5 zloty on Hillary. Then there are 30 zloty in the pool, 20 bet on Hillary and 10 bet on Trump. If Hillary wins, then Tom and Harry split the 30 zloty based on their bets so Tom would get 15/20=3/4 of the 30 zloty or 22.5 zloty and Harry would get 5/20=1/4 of the 30 zloty or 7.5 zloty. For each zloty they bet, they would get 1.5 zloty. On the other hand, if Trump wins, then Dick would get the 30 zloty for a payout of 3 zloty for each zloty bet.

Of course, the house would keep some portion of the bet. Suppose they kept 10%. Then there would be 27 zloty in the pool and Tom and Harry would get a payout of 1.35 zloty for each zloty bet and Dick would get 2.7 zloty for each zloty bet.

On the candidates themselves, I have as little confidence that Trump will be a good President as I have that Clinton would have been a good President if she had won.

We're screwed either way.

i'm reminded of this bit by henry Wallace-
"A fascist is one whose lust for money or power is combined with such an intensity of intolerance towards those of other races, parties, classes, religions, cultures, regions or nations as to make him ruthless in his use of deceit or violence to attain his ends."

I fail to see a reason go to any state aside from Massachusetts, where the entire state was blue.

A shame since I wanted to visit some places in the States but no longer feel safe to.

why not Washington state, as long as you avoid east of the cascades, and also avoid mason county and stick to the I5 corridor between Olympia and the canadian border you should do reasonably well.

Well, I should have clarified that I would only go to areas that were majority blue.

California I've heard was (I'm not much of a person who knows which state votes for which, I just love Boston and the surrounding area from reading and video games like Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed 3, etc. so I know about that) majority blue.

It's as safe now as ever.
Blue states have plenty of conservatives and red states have plenty of liberals. It's all a matter of majority and it takes only a small majority to make a state blue or red.
