Not sure if they've checked this story against mall security camera footage and other witnesses, but it sounds legit to me. These mass murderers are only bold around unarmed victims. Active shooter response training usually says to engage them ASAP because they're not likely to ambush or even fight back hard. Most likely, they'll retreat or suicide when confronted with even the threat of force.

Excellent story. It kind of shoots holes (no pun intended) on the anti's incessant screeching that all CCW holders are murderers waiting for an opportunity to blast away.
In my experience this guy is the average CCW holder.
