I just think what is the point of being on here? Sometimes I struggle on my own with my thoughts and feel that talking about particular issues to someone in person like my counsellor or on here sometimes helps get the weight off my chest and not talking about it and being alone with them just makes it worse.

No, don't leave please. Sometimes people don't always know what to say but this is a kind place and keep doing what you are doing and the good people will come to you. Feel free to post in the game forum when you feel alone, it helps me and others.

I only have 1 friend here and I'm happy with that. We chat almost daily. Feel free to ask for support when you need it by please be patient - remember - the forum is still young now after the shut down.

Also, use this thread to further ask and hopefully people will open up to you. Remember, it takes time to build a relationship. Takes time.

Please try to use distractions when you stray too far away from reality. I have to constantly ground myself. Daily battle I guess.

Hey Welcome Back chris1989 seems I recall you here from before . it is s new beginning for WP ,like exec had written.
Sorry your feeling out of sorts . I am not terribly communicative . And this place is having a slow restart. When first coming here in the late 2005 nobody wrote back , and I saw others write back and forth - So i left too. but it was not as big as it has been in the last year . Then came back in the Teens , different ID .. And saw a difference ,more peeps .
Am only recently returned after WP re opened . Hope your psyche issues are mild for you, in the future.

I think this place is so valuable to me even just as a place to read other people's thoughts and occasionally I add my own thoughts. But I took a long break between posts (2010-2024), probably because I did not know what to post. But then one day in 2024, I just responded to a post that I was interested in and it picked up again from there!

The pace can be slow but that's part of why I love being back here. I am pleasantly surprised with how this forum has endured over the years!
