-1. Slight slump today. Think it's related to fatigue because my eyes are dry and feel odd, and I feel unwell.

Lost. Having worked like a machine to optimise protocol to show expression of 5HT1A receptors, I should be happy because freakish precision means now have tons of results, absolute textbook rt-PCR amplification curves, melt points etc.(this amount of experiment success was not expected) Except they don't prove hypothesis (no significant down regulation against housekeeping genes) and still have to write dissertation. Realise the preceding probably does not mean anything to most people, but it represents a lot of work,(and brain samples) FOR NOTHING. :cry:

My social life sucks too. As does my outlook.
