Here's the ironic thing. I think the bullies would be the ones that would benefit from talk therapy but that would seem too much like sympathy towards them. I think the average bully is a bully because they are insecure but they have no idea why. They just know they want to hurt somebody. A little self awareness can go a long way. Then again maybe some people are just blockheads.

That may well be true but in "my" world I wish I could pull a Glock and fill the bullies full of lead.

Yeah, I can get that. You know they say often bullies are bullied by their parents. They can't fight back so they dump on someone else. In my world I have a few Full Metal Jacket fantasies myself.

If only I had such violent thoughts at the time, as I was SOOOOO passive and tried my best to avoid those fantasies (although I did draw a doodle where they got chased by some anthropomorphic animals with a duck shouting "That's right! Run you cowards!! !" ) Sadly, the lack of violence and assertion and attempting to take their teasing with good humor and turn the other cheek probably didn't get results that were as good as they could have been, as the outcome could have been more better and gaining me more success with shooing them away rather than having to push back the aggression.

Hey Fickle Pickle

I have no idea what you're going through and can't imagine, but I do think I can relate.

I had Post traumatic stress disorder for a bit because of something that happened when I was really young (Earthquake, believe it or not.) When I hit high school, I just entered this "I don't care" apathetic mindset (which is making a long-story short).

Frankly, I don't know if being apathetic to the world helped or hurt.

But I can say this--each day will get better--give life some time.

Lonely nights are horrid.

Grief and regret are often worse than the initial mistake.

But things will get better and there are ways to cope.

If you need anyone to talk to or just need to pass some time, feel free to pm me.

David

I really feel lonely at night too. Especially living with my parents and not having a social life. I want a life partner to help me not worry so much and to think positive and not get so stressed out. I feel that my life is blocked and there's nobody in this world that I can relate too, even if I traveled from state to state.
