I think the US definition of "ass" was adopted by the Brits a while ago now but there are certain phrases that don't sound right to me when they are interchanged - "don't know my ass from my elbow" , "I'm a bad arse" etc.

To be fair, I've tried almost every approach there is over many years and it seems I suck at all of them, so I won't be replying to any more of joe's posts.

When you said you felt the same I thought they were generalizations of offering forum help , I don't think this thread was aimed at you in any way.

If this does not make sense then I think I'm starting to lose the plot ( or maybe I just overdid it yesterday )

It's been a long time since I last tasted a worm and I can't remember the taste , I'd better bring some sauce.

And now I just feel like I've derailed another thread , I really should learn how to keep my mouth shut or my fingers idle :oops:

Had a plane journey a few months ago, two and a half hours to Spain. When we got there one of the fight attendants announced "I'd like to thank everyone for their patience, we've had a record number of babies on board today".

It was like the seventh circle of Hell.
