4. Interesting day.
First I went to the funeral home, since it's shadow day and I shadowed the funeral director (because none of the careers I'm interested in are even remotely close and/or allow anyone under 18). So, I got there, about six people greeted me then all went off in different directions, none of them offering to take me with them. Had no idea who to follow, what to do, anything...ended up pacing the hallway until someone came back and gave me a tour. After which I sat in the office. For three hours. That's all I did. I asked if there was something I could do, no matter how small/inferior, whatever, just to do something...And there wasn't. I hit the completely invisible mark at around 10:30. So that was a waste of my time.
Then my mother picked me up and we went for lunch, which was nice. But then she decided that we had to go shopping in a store that she had won a free gift card for...Victoria's Secrets. And, since my mom is not the right size and does not like the styles, she decided that we would go shopping for me.
So, I'm standing in this frilly, pink store with all these hovering attendents, trying to plot my way out. Uncomfortable to the max. I didn't want any clothing from there - it's either pink or it's lacy, and neither of those things appeal to me - so I'm about ready to give up and run when I see the lotions/perfume section. And since I like to hoard good smelling things, I drift over there.
So of course nothing is labeled clearly - that is, none of them say "fruit" or "vanilla" or anything like that. It's "Desire" and "Halos" and whatnot. But there are tester bottles, which means I can smell them. So I spot an interesting looking one, pick it up, and try it. It smells bad, I put it back. No problems so far.
Except for two minutes later when my skin is bright red and burning. I have extremely sensitive skin, and the perfume set off an allergic reaction (which is so typical).
Everything's all right now, and I did buy some lotion (which I don't have an allergic reaction to) so everything's kinda fine now. (I still have a guitar lesson shortly which I haven't practiced for all week, but I'll figure that out.)
