The point is that....in opposition to his "detractors," this person did not preclude Marknis from ever having a girlfriend.

That's a given and obvious fact, I'm sure.

All right. It could have been a sales pitch.

But....even then....the implication was that the possibility that Marknis could get a girlfriend or a wife exists.

Of course there was that implication, and of course you can get a girlfriend or wife one day, Marknis (and Sly)!
I'm sorry for the rant but I don't like that salespeople said things so carelessly it made our WP friends want to hurt themselves in angst.

Marknis and Sly have to realize that, yes, there is the possibility of getting a girlfriend/wife for them.

Because I live in the Bible Belt, I am expected to be a church going Christian who has a lot of friends, has a girlfriend or maybe a wife and even some mistresses on the side, works a high paying job, watches football more religiously than reading the bible, thinks country music is a gift from God, and praises Donald Trump. When I dispel these assumptions, it's like I've just told someone I kill people.



My detractors both here and who I face in the real world don't think so. In fact, they don't want me to ever have love and would celebrate if I truly gave up.

It’s nit just sales people.
Coworker keeps pressing me on it. It sucks looking normal. Hidden disability sucks. If I was physically disabled, they wouldn’t question why I’m single forever and why I work w crappy job. Why do you work this job , I can’t tell them it’s cause no where else will take me as I can only work few hours.
I hate my life. I hate being alone and knowing I’ll never be loved.

I woke up around 4 AM with a migraine (due to the weather channging), and my dog just threw up. I suspect I can't get up withhout doing the same thing right now, so cleanup will have to wait until it's soaked into the carpet

I used to visualize that I would have a family as well as a music career by now. Why did I have those dreams when they didn't happen?

Anxious and worried. This morning I have just arranged for the home vet to visit as soon as he can today. My darling old cat did perk up for a few days on the steroid injection last week, but now he has developed severe respiratory symptoms.

As the tests indicated, there is some underlying illness process going on, and my guess is that this latest episode might indicate an increasing failure of his immune system.

Like so many cats he is stoic in the face his affliction, whereas his human companion is afflicted with an anxiety manifesting as severe nausea now about the possible implications of his relapse.

I hope your cat feels better soon B19. For humans I would recommend taking a spoon of castor oil for respiratory problems and a weakened immune system. I know it's also recommended for dogs but I'm unsure about cats.
