Scared.... I tried talking to someone but I spoke too softly too gently too lavishly so I was ignored.

I think I even managed a smile at the floor….

You tried...and you spoke, those are achievements in themselves, are they not? Trying is better than not having tried at all.

Yeah...it's a big step for me; I'm unsure if the mute madman actually speaks English or his voice is so maddeningly minute that it’s interpreted as a grunt or something….

No? You can love someone so much that you can barely function…you can love someone so much that they hate you…you can love someone so much that you start to hate yourself.

The polar opposites are more closely related than people think….
