Night…. Is there anything that I could say to you that'd make you feel a little better...other than just speaking to begin with...ah, I think that might be it.

To humanity: Perhaps…just gently talking with people is all that it takes to make them feel a little better, i.e., just listening to what they have to say, and asking questions that aren’t too intrusive (this is hard to gauge “what” from “what” though), and then listening to their answers with an non-judgmental ear.
