The only thing I saw that caused me to do a double take was your message:

I think I understand what you might have been trying to say (that Aspies tend to be non-violent?). But I can see that someone might misinterpret this.

That being said, on other webgroups where I have been a moderator, it has always been my practice to accompany a revocation of posting privileges with an explanation.
