I spent $7 on a toilet unclogger. And I flushed the 1st half of it, and I should have known not to flush it. I should have called a maintanence worker! God, I wasted $7! I feel so stupid!

Weren't you supposed to flush it? Or do you mean it was intended to sit for awhile before you flushed it?

Did it go down? If it did, problem solved. :P

You wanna hear stupid - I lived in a house once where the builder and previous owner had tied his sewer plumbing into the line coming off the neighbor's home on the hill above. When their sewer line got clogged, it backed up all the way down the hill and into the plumbing in our house - not just the toilets - raw sewage erupted up through our bathtub and shower drains as well. :eew:

I'd have sued the guy who built and sold us the house, but it was a rental when we moved in, so he got around the disclosure laws. Schmuck.

I blew $300 on calling a plumber when I could've had the information for the maitenance worker who could've done fix the toilet problem in my apartment for free.

Huge difference between blowing $7 and $300

I'd like to think if my landlord had been home at the time when I tried to call him about the situation, he could've reminded me about that.
