Lately stuff has been going pretty well, like doing decent in school and got a temp job. Though right now though I sense that my acceptance of being a loner may be catching up and I am about to have a nervous breakdown. I think the medication I am on helps calm me down a little bit, but I am still beginning to feel lonely.

All I can say is hang in there, the horrible phases like this come and go. You will eventually feel better and there are people who care about you in the world.

Meds can be touchy. They don't always hold for certian settings, certian stresses. Might want to get hold of your doctor and talk to him about the dose level.

Lonely is a rough one. In the past when I started obsessing about it, I would try and get near people, not in the group, just near them. Temp fix to be sure, but any port in a storm. Sometimes to my shock I actually met others doing the very same thing. Watch for the people on the edge of the crowd, just like you might do.

*hug* :-)

You're never truly alone (although it may appear so when being introspective), whether you like it or not, there's always someone waiting to annoy you ;-)

Maybe you could speak to a counselor at your University?
Sometimes it helps to have someone to talk at. Be able to unburden your fears without judgment. Voicing your fears, can help show them in a different light, and then they may not be so intimidating or overwhelming anymore.

lonelyness is just a state of mind, once you learn how to replace your lonely thoughts, everything should be aok. or you can just do what i do and pretend your in a hot relationship with somebody :P

I'm feeling alright now. I guess I was just paranoid for the moment.

Good for you.. :) It's good to know that even when you're down, it will pass and you'll be OK again in the end...

Thank goodness. I also feel lonely frequently these days, though at one level this is irrational as I have friends.

It sure can. Takes practice.
