And I would be better off gone. Maybe everybody else would be better off without me around too.

I can't help feeling that way sometimes especially if I feel like I've done something wrong to somebody else.

:(

I think everybody in this world matters and is here for a reason. I know I don't know you but I think the world and the members here would be sad if you weren't here.

I'm not sure about that. I honestly think I would be quickly forgotten about.

You're the first person I've spoken to here and I already like you. I would miss you! Nobody is ever quickly forgotten about at all. My cousin took his own life in 2016 because he thought his life was meaningless and nobody cared, his sisters miss him dearly and would give anything to have him back. Your family would miss you as would your friends here.

I might not ever get a license though and if I'm moving back to my hometown I won't even be able to take a bus since there is no bus transportation in my hometown.

I think I'm going to be a manchild for the rest of my life. :(

Yes but you might still get your license and if not, it doesn't matter :) . Not everyone learns to drive, in fact my Grampy never learnt to drive and he was 79 when he passed away. He still had an amazing life full of happy times :) .

Don't give up buddy. I was telling Emma only the other day, life is so short you have to give it your best and enjoy yourself! Rubbish happens but that's life buddy, you have to get past the bad moments to get to the good moments otherwise you spend all your time worrying and thinking about the bad stuff... But you're young and have so much to live for, not just your license... :) .

You've got a lot of people here who care for you buddy :) . Keep going you are a great person!

Look at it this way. You are going to die someday anyway. Life is short. So why not try the best you can to enjoy the time you have left.

Maybe everyone's life is "meaningless", not just yours

Maybe they just act like their lives are meaningful

Maybe they are mistaken

That really doesn't make me feel better.......

I think all life should have meaning. But maybe you're right and it doesn't. :(

Death is the great equalizer, since everyone dies, no matter how seemingly insignificant or seemingly significant they may be. Maybe that's a positive way to look at it? Or not.

Usually I feel like my "life" has no meaning

Absolutely or relatively

No purpose, goals, hobbies, job, precious lil "friends"

What's so bad about that?

You feel like it's meaningless because you think it's meaningless.

That you only feel like that sometimes tells me that you only really think of it and dwell on it sometimes.

People who think their lives have purpose and meaning have thought that into being too, there's really no difference between you and them except their way of thinking.

Everything's a delusion we tell ourselves.

I feel the same way, unfortunately all we can do is continue on day by day. :(
