Why does it still feel like an "abnormality" ?
Even though things have changed since the days of my grandparents generation, I still feel like an abnormality because I went through the 20s and over 30 without a long term relationship or getting married or had a first divorce and seems like everyone else has.
I managed to find a job and drive a car before 30 but it still feels to me like it's "not enough". I knew people older than me who married at 22 or 23 and are still together now whereas at that age I wasn't and it was never on my radar at that age.
It really feels isolating to me because I have few close friends in a situation like me who is over 30, still lives at home and so on. It may seem like times are different now but it still feels it's there is something "wrong" if you have got past 25 or 30 without marriage or long term relationships.
