Hey all

I've just had/having another bout of my "monthy" stuff, pain, feeling constantly sick, headaches, pains in my legs, THE f*****g LOT.

Pain and other fuss has meant I have hardly had any sleep these last 3 nights, I almost passed out yesterday and today I can hardly keep my eyes open.

I've had enough of being this way, REALLY had enough, altogether. A night's sleep might help but I'm not going to get it, what with waking up in massive sweats every hour or something else waking me up, I got no chance.

All I've done this past hour is cry, thats about all I have the energy to do, every little step drains me even more.

i don't know how old you are or if Birth control is an option but, I take seasonal and i only have eh, "issues" four times a year.
I totally dig it, light cramps, no mood swings, and such.
good luck!

Try some Midol, seriously, it works. And Advil or something similar at night. This is how I survive every month.
Sucks being female sometimes, doesn't it?

What did you do to deserve this? You were born female. Other than that, I believe you are undeserving of the misery & suffering you describe.

I often wonder what I did to deserve being born with Bipolar Disorder and Asperger Sydrome. As if one weren't enough.

Suffering unites all of humankind. It's one of the very few unifying threads uniting every woman, every man, every child.

As a man, my advice would be to walk it off.

I'm really sorry you're having such a bad time. The only thing I can think of that might help is dried apricots for the legs, or bananas but they're hard on the stomach. My sister used to have dire periods and got a lot of relief by avoiding red meat during the week ahead.

And what did you do to deserve it? Absolutely nothing.

I read your post; hormonal flux is REAL and some females are more effected than others - I'm fortunate that I am not. But one thing that be an option: You wrote you almost passed out an and you 'can hardly keep your eyes open!' This is real indication that you're iron deficient which can be really apparent during menstration. If you're feeling faint, maybe you could see your doctor - do you take iron/vitamin supplements? You shouldn't have to feel that lack of energy so acutely. Sorry this is so hard, it should not be (& and you do not deserve it)!

You should probably go see a doctor about this.

I actually had a similar problem before, where I was extremely weak amongst other menstrual agonies. I was found to be severely anemic, and required a couple of blood transfusions. Please see a doctor to make sure that you aren't anemic and or blood deficient.
