First of all I KNOW I am not stupid but seriously. Why do people treat me that way? Like before my Dad asked for a certain screwdriver so I had a look but I couldn't find one. Felt bit better after I kicked a few things out of my way outside. But that is just it, when I stuff up (which seems to be alot) I want to break something.
If I am not useless then why am I still living at home at 31 years old with no car and no job?? I can't follow thru with studies and even when I have I still haven't been able to find work. There isn't much out there that really makes me interested anyway. Full time work is not an option because I have to get Damo from school. I am too s**t scared to drive so therefore no licence.
I get so sick of people treating me like I am stupid or thinking I don't know what I am doing. It frustrates the hell out of me when someone asks me if I want their help when I definatly don't need it let alone want it!!
I am feeling so alone like no-one understands me.

Work is hard to find, try not to beat yourself up over it. Have you ever considered you might have adult ADD? Often with that it's nearly impossible to follow things through.

You certainly don't seem stupid, I think your problem is confidence as far as the drivers lisense is concerned. Is your family very supportive? I know when your family drums into you how you can't do something, you start to believe it.

I would reccomend starting at a driving school so they can learn to teach you to drive properley. This is a lot better than having a family member teach you.

Whatever your choices, good luck. :)

ADD is looking very likely which sucks in my opinion! Well I would go to a driving school but first I have to get my 'a into g' and go to AA to renew my learners.

My family are supportive to a point, I have emailed my brother with the signs of adult ADHD and asked what he thinks. My dad is like 'whatever' toa lmost anything I say so I am not telling him at this stage, My mum is dead so no help there and my sister (who thankfully lives far away) is a b!tch.

Old school reports say 'doesn't apply herself' or 'needs to pay more attention' or 'has the knowledge but doesn't seem to act on it'.
I have only mentioned to 2 people offline.

Here's an easy thing to test for ADD: since the treatment is speed-like drugs.... how do you react to caffine? If it seems to calm you down, you probably have it. If it makes you all jittery, then probably not. Now I'm talking about reasonable amounts of caffine here, like coffee or something. Not eating a bottle of NoDoze or anything like that. (Don't do that.)

This may not be proven (I don't know), but it's my theory. It seems logical.

Um well if anyone took my coffee away there would be trouble!! I have about 5 a day but can't after 2pm otherwise I won't be able to sleep. For some reason coffee makes me able to do stuff and feel good.

Then I'd guess you probably have it.

I tried the "real" meds, but didn't care for them. Sure you feel great, but there's side effects. I treat mine with green tea pills (like diet pills). I hate to drink tea, but it's supposed to be good for you, so two in one.

Well maybe I do. I can't get motivated then when I do I lose interest pretty quick if it is boring. Tidying up for example I hate it but it has to be done. Yesterday afternoon was soooo bad. I ended up snaping and he was sarcastic and said I was stupid and an idiot. But he shouted it at me which made me belive him, he certainly didn't use a sarcastic tone of voice! I was just not thinking and ended up walking out with my son and headign towards a friends place. Thankfully the bus was late and my brother rang me.
My main problem is that I just don't think sometimes, I jump to conclusions and become irrational and at the time make rash decisions. Then I feel like crap after.
