It's weird saying "chick" or "gal"

in australia, and old woman in the vernacular slang is irreverently referred to as "a boiler" meaning a chook that is too old to be fit for anything else.

“Dude” started off meaning “guy who is a city slicker who can’t handle cowboy stuff.”

Hence, “dude ranch.”

It is......in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

In broad Scots, it's "hen."

I call women "chicks" on occasion. Not so much "gals". Either way, I see nothing wrong with using either word to describe a female. And if women somehow get offended by those words, that's their problem, not mine.

I also dislike when people call me or others "chick" or "gal". The only thing I generally call other people other than their name if we are close is "dude". I like "dude", heh c:

It sometimes sounds weird to me but I've heard offline & seen online that LOTS of women refer to themselves or other women as chicks or gals. I don't use those terms thou unless the women talks like that a lot.
