Grael, those excluded books from the bible are probably more true than any book in there right now, i think i read somewhere that the reason they started out with 4 atleast in the new testement is because of the 4 winds of the earth. Easten religion is much more peaceful i think :)


I have a fascination with Shaolin Warriors and Buddhist monks.
Oddly, I have always had a fascination for monks and nuns, even though I do not have their beliefs.
There is just something really... peaceful about monasteries and abbeys etc.
Hmm.
Maybe I was a monk in a past life :lol:

ive always wanted to be a monk in the hymalayas or whatever there called. i could live out of a backpack and pray all day long :D

It sounds awesome - I think i would definitely enjoy reading it - especially parts where the book makes comparisons to religious stuff most of us have already learned.

I'm also a strong believer in the Bible, but I don't go to Church. I've found the ones in Minnesota have pastors who don't believe the Bible. I used to go to Church all the time when I lived in Texas though.

ah, so now you understand exactly how people feel when the Bible is quoted and studied and preached and held up to be the ultimate authority. . it is like you feel about the Urantia Book!

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't 'believe' or not 'believe' in the Urantia Book, or the Bible or the Book of Mormon or the Bhagavad Gita. I just don't think one is bunkum and all the others are the Truth and the Way.
