after being on CNN comments section...trying to argue some sense into 3 white racists and 1 black racist.
I just feel dirty somehow witnessing all this hatred. Thank God and Alex that I am back on WP!

.....I guess whoever said "Dont stare into the Abyss, because the Abyss stares back" was right

....I need a bath,

Jojo

Battle with trolls, and you'll end up under the bridge.

Why bother changing unless I'm done eating for the day? Then, i might as well just get ready for bed even if it's not bedtime.

because it has been drummed into me since I was little that it means I am a "slob" even though I have a problem with hand to mouth coordination.

I been verbally abused about it too much not to mind it. However I admire your independance :D

If you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

Sorry I know that's not really the point of this thread but they are very similar quotes.

I also learned that it's no use trying to argue a point online with most people. Online people tend to show more of who they really are.

I've been verbally abused for it myself. I simply don't care. I don't understand why it matters unless there's a situation where I need to look my best.

It doesn't wash off, no matter how much water applied. Skin just peels and cracks from the water, with the dirt digging in deeper.

Your first mistake was engaging anyone on CNN.

Never go on comment sections on news websites. You'll always encounter many extreme opinions because those people are always the most vocal, and most moderate people don't bother posting. Just remember that it's always a small % of people who believe those things so just don't read the comment sections in the first place. You'll end up wasting time and feeling angry. You can spend hours of energy "hate reading" on the internet but it's a total waste of time. What do you learn from reading their comments? Nothing useful. What do you change by engaging them? Nothing. They never change their opinions.
