As topic title. I've wanted to get this for ages, but wonder if this would look cheap. I really like the look of it. It's made from 100% polyester.

I can't view the images properly on my mobile broadband - can anyone tell if the material looks shiny? Many thanks.

it looks like the material police officers around here wear.
it seems to me a bit shiny, like it would shine if it gets wet.

The jacket part looks like it might be a little bit shiny, but not too much.

I don't see any "shininess"--maybe I'm not sensitive to it.

It seems like a nice outfit.

Not an expert on clothes but is it possible they used lighting that made it look a little shiny?

The outfit is cute.

I like the outfit. It seems very futuristic. I think you should get it. :)

I can't see it. By the looks of it, it would be useless reflector gear either for bike riding or directing traffic, in the dark.

Glad I'm not the only one not seeing it.

It's not made of typical blouse fabric anyway. I have a black 3/4 sleeve office blouse that I thought would be made of the same but it's not. Judging by the pictures (in particular the closeup of the shirt cuff) it looks like a slinkier fabric with a larger weave. It has a sheen to it but it's not shiny enough to be satin IMO. If it is satin it's a very poor quality satin.

^OP said it was 100% polyester

If you don't mind it looking a little shiny, I think it's actually really adorable. Go for it. :D

It only looks slightly shiny to me, but I still like how cute and fashionable the outfit looks.
