I had to stop watching. It was just so wrong for a kid to act that way. She needs a reality check because reality is only a few years away...

Remember that movie, "Smile"?

Very funny/sad. The kid lets her mom live her life through her ...

Exactly the type of people that I hate. :x I wouldn't date a girl like that, if I was paid.

LOL, I haven't watched Wife Swap for a while now. That's just CRAZY!

Yes, and sadly I've seen many girls act like this. It's especially hard to comprehend when you see them be this way by their 20s at a job. Unless they're like Paris Hilton, who have mom and pop who are rich enough to financially support them, I don't know how they're going to make it in the real world.

Well.

Looks can certainly grease the wheels so to speak. It is unfortunate, but true.

*ducks incoming indignant volley*

*peeks over, over-turned table*

Having said that however, if they don't instill some sort of substance under that facade that child is going to fall apart when she is too old to be a child anymore, or be completely dependent on her parents for the rest of her life. Which, mommy and daddy may not only indulge, but insist on. They strike me as at least that sick.

They are giving her nothing to work with. They had better have one hefty trust fund to get her through the rest of her life when they kick, with an allowance for a minder because she will need a keeper to call the shots for her. Which, come to think of it is probably going to be a very wealthy type-A personality husband. See. Problem solved. Poor kid.

She is going to have a nervous breakdown when that mirror starts to show her that "sparkle" is fading.

"This is why the terrorists hate us." Yup.

I guess they're just waiting for a nice NT guy who values looks over everything else to take care of them ! !

Pheon, unfortunately you are right, many people think looks equals talent and power...

8O *backs slowly away from the crazy people*

wow reality is gonna hit this poor girl like a ton of
bricks in the not to distant future...and theres just
no way in hell she will be able to handle a load like
that.

Is it just me being weird or does the mother in that
clip look like she has applied 1/2 inch of strange
coloured makeup on her face..? 8O in my eyes it
looked like she was going to a maskerade or some-
thing until it dawned on me that it was "regular"
makeup. I dont think i would survive 15 minutes in
the same room as people like this, it would just
be too much, much too much, my head began
hurting halfway through the clip.

*backs even further away from the crazy people* 8O

Whats going to happen if that girl gets into some type of accident that disfigures her? Has an allergic reaction that swells up her face?

Or even just gets older and starts to look like an old person?

What are the odds of a guy who thinks looks are everything keeping her past the age of say 35? Wouldn't he just end up dumping her for a young girl?
