I would feel enraged and want to punch them in the face. It hurts me all the time and also angers me greatly unfortunately to those kinds of people, ignorance is indeed bliss. Usually when one uses that term to describe all autistic beings that individual is that of average or below average intelligence, a Darwin Award hoping to happen.

Except that when a NERD friend of mine presumed that all I can do with computer is play some lousy solitaire. And he thought I was "normal" whick basiccally means that he thinks I'm stupid and illogical I thought that he would feel the wibe of a nerd (asperger) in me, but no. Or maybe he just wanted to annoy me. Not very unusual.

Then one time an a**hole person told me that I'm "dry b***h, with no sence of humour". I took that as a somekind of compliment, because I don't know if I really wanna be concidered as a "nice, humorous person" by a jerk who thinks humour is sayin "gay, gay, handjob, blowjob, gaygaygay".

Well this had nothing to do with the subject, sorry...

I'm usually called slow more than ret*d, although I was called a ret*d quite a few times by kids growing up and even my mom still occasionally uses it with me. Eh, I guess I just don't care anymore. At least I'm intelligent and multi-talented, which is not something those people can say for themselves.
