am also a sufferer of the same tactile halucinations but only get it when pyschosis is flaring up,mine presents exactly like severe paranoid schizophrenia and was tested by pyschologist as being very high on the schizophrenia PANNS [positive and negative syndrome scale] but got told it was the effects of having a high arrousal system from severe autism,so they just listed these issues under that which isnt very helpful as someone without it woud no doubt get a schizophrenia diagnosis which enables more understanding for that side.

just ask the pysch and see what they say and go from there,no point in stressing through any more medical stuff until they say it isnt related to anything have got.
