I promise not to change my avatar. It is nice and fishy, just the way I like it.

Ditto. I can be very rigid and have trouble dealing with most kinds of change (including even trimming my hair), but that doesn't mean I don't want a new avatar every once in a while.

Actually, the trend for changing avatars makes the "Caption the Avatar" thread pretty interesting.

Curioser and curioser... I am curious to know just how changing an avatar is an NT trait, lol? I did not notice 'stable forum avatars' listed in the DSM criteria.
I would have thought it would be more an ADD trait myself.

We hate changes and we prefer the sameness and changing your avatar is a change.

Oh, go f**k yourself.

Edit: I'm sorry, but that is just stupid. Are you asking people to change their habits and personalities just so that they adhere more closely to your own preconceptions about Asperger's?

Why are people taking what I said so personally?

All I said it was an NT trait. I have NT traits myself, we all do. It's impossible to be 100 percent aspie.

People should really stop telling others what they can and cannot do.

Don't take this personally, but I want to kill you.

I want to gouge out your eyes and force feed them to you, rip out your intestines and strangle you with them, break all your limbs and tie them in knots.

That is all. :D

:o I felt sick just hearing that (no, really, i've watched too many gory movies lately).

I usually try not to change my avatar too many times, but I might end up changing mine, because I don't know if people actually know what it is, and like to have avatars that people know what they are.

I think its OK to change avatars once in a while, as long as its also the same theme with your previous avatar.

I can barely operate a computer so I dont tinker so much.

does my avatar kinda makes you uncomfortable, anybody? I notice my eyes look too intense and straight at the camera, and it looks like Im doing a staredown. 8O

If anybody's not too comfy with it, I'd be glad to change it for you.
