I've noticed a lot of complaining on this board about how NTs just don't understand. Frankly I've never really had that problem. God has blessed me with understanding friends who not only give a rip about me, but actually use logic and appreciate logic. I've been pretty much appointed the unofficial drama fixer at my high school because I can see both sides and be objective. Am I just lucky or do people on this board just love to complain, or is it something else?

For the most part, I've had a similar experience. I am asked for my advice/perspective all the time for the reasons you state. I like your term "drama fixer".

I've had a mix. Some understand, others don't. That's just how things go.

MY friends call me weird, but then in turn say they are quirky themselves so it all works out.

If someone is a moron, I don't associate with them. It minimises my people problems.

Its funny, since I told my friends, one now asks me technical questions, whereas before he was a major bully.

Its as if giving my behaviour a scientific name has now earned me his respect.

But yeah, some people have less functioning and difficult situations at home, its not so easy for everyone.
