You're having a good and interesting conversation, but suddenly you need everybody to stop talking - now. But you know you can't say anything or leave, bc that would be rude, and god forbid. Anybody else get this?

I feel that way when I'm getting tired and overstimulated from being around a lot of people. I wait for the conversation to die down but than it doesn't.

Yeah I feel like I get that , as CR said it seems like overstimulation. When it happens I tend to over analyse things more and my mind becomes preoccupied with things said 5 sentences ago, I feel overloaded and just want people to be quiet so I can catch up , my body goes into fight or flight survival mode - I never do either so I'm sure the adrenalin that builds does harm to me in some way

I get that as well. I think for me, it is definitely overstimulation, especially if we are having a conversation about something that gets me excited.

It can happen, especially when I've had too much caffeine or a slightly stronger stimulant like kratom or ma huang. I'm the most talkative person you're likely to meet, until I'm suddenly not and I just want to go home and read, watch TV, or whatever.
