I watched a lame B movie about Elvis yesterday (Elvis' Bodyguard?), after 2 minutes I wanted to turn in off and go to bed, but I stayed till the end. I have that with books too, if I don't like it, I force myself to finish it anyways.

Is that Aspie compulsion too?

I did this one time with a music video on YouTube. I ended up getting a headache from it. I had seen a ton of people obsess over it, so I decided to see what all the commotion was about, and I absolutely abhored it.

In case anyone is wondering, it was that "Caramel Dansen" anime video.

I get a similar thing when watching SpongeBob episodes. Even though I don't hate any episodes, I still force myself to watch the few episodes I don't like so much (but they're still okay) just because "I have" to watch each episode a lot.

Not books, because you do have to set them down sometime, and then it's easy to not pick it up again. But I have watched through more movies and tv shows even though they were bothering me. I only recently got so I can make myself stop.

This is not normally a problem for me.
However, I once read a 600-page novel to see if it would get any better (it didn't).

If I don't like a book or film, I'm not going to bother with watching or reading it. I wouldn't be able to stand the boredom.

I've definitely watched too many bad movies, though

Sometimes they're so bad that they're hilarious, but other times I'm just thinking "Well, maybe it will start to pick up and get better." and then it doesn't =/

And I certainly wouldn't walk out of a movie I paid money to see at the theatre o_O I don't get how people can do that, they don't even ask for a refund
