KristaMeth looked from Calandale's face to where he seemed to be looking even in death.
He was looking at Gwenevyn.
The other girls were now looking at Gwenevyn too.
Hadron was looking at Calandale, even in death.
They knew at once what had happened. Calandale and Gwen were an item, and Calandale had put on girls' clothes and then come out and given himself up as a girl, so that he could go with her, and Hadron, being Calandale's friend, had decided to stick with his friend.
suddenly syzygyish wheeled around drunk
nobody every found out who his supplier was from
he batted a female guard in the trunk
as he fell into his grave
I'm sorry he said for the millionth time today
she shot him in the back of his front
suddenly his spirit was re-engaged
Icarus falling
Cenosomethings
It can't do this lone
It upwind undown
unalone & known
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Icarus_falling spun about enraged
what was this annoying indision?

Meanwhile, deep-techno was walking down the beach, completely oblivious to who he was, and Username88 wasn't much help as he didn't know deep-techno.
He entered a graveyard. There were a fair few graves around, including TheAPERSON's.
"TheAPERSON? Hmm, I'm sure that name is familiar..."

Back in space, Speedy awoke from his slumber. He got up and went to the cockpit, to check the systems and make sure everything was going as he had hoped. It wasn't,
"Bugger"
This was serious,
"Oh smeg, oh smeg, oh smegging smegging smeggery!"
This was really serious. Looking at the monitors in front of him, Speedy realised his error: he had set the weapons system right, 24-hour stasis, and written down the solultion. But he hadn't actually set the craft in the right direction. He had put in co-ordinates for Ceres. As if this wasn't bad enough, he had run out of chocolate milk, the other reason he was heading back to Earth.
"Hang on, Earth, hang on Wrong Planet folk, I'm coming. Just got to right a minor wrong and I'll be with you in two days"
He sent a message down to a radio station, closest in proximity to the surviving WPers.
"Speedy calling, Speedy calling, I have the solution to the predicament you have all found yourselves in. Unfortunately, due to a, er, a technical error, I can't make it back down to Earth for another two days. I just hope this gets through..."
Realising the brevity of the current dilemma, Speedy put the craft in the right direction, this time with Earth's co-ordinates, and added 'chocolate milk' to the list in his pocket. Another power nap was needed. It was a good job, all things considered, that he suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, because the stasis unit was not working now. Knew I shouldn't have made it myself, Speedy thought. Still, I can sleep non-stop for two days problem free.
The fate of the WPers potentially lay in the hands of Speedy, now, and if they got his broadcast, they would know help, of a sorts, was on its way.

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Inigo Montoya
The Aspie women shuffled over the long bridge onto the boat, as rifle butts and hickory sticks rained down on their heads. They were prodded into cages along the walls of the hold, on the lowest floor that was still above-water.
"Just like animals," Graelwyn murmered. "f**k; I'm gonna kill one of them if this keeps up. And I mean it. I'll make Flagg and my son proud of me." Her face was red with anger.
Gwenevyn was thinking of what to say to them. Could she start a conversation with them? Diplomatically ask what would be done to them?
Lelia saw this and slowly walked over to Gwenevyn. "Do you want to talk to them? I have an idea."
"There's no point-- I can't talk to a**holes," Graelwyn said.
"I'll do the talking," Gwenevyn assured her. "It's okay, Graelwyn, don't cry. We'll get ourselves out of here, or go down heroically and honorably."
"All right! That's my girl!" Lelia exclaimed, a grin spreading across her face.
They herded the rest of the women into the cages that lined all four walls save for the two doors, one leading out of the ship onto the ramp and the other leading further into the ship. There weretwenty cells; eight on eah of the long sides and on the door walls, two each, one on either side of the door.
Lelia, Gwenevyn, Graelwyn and Tygereyes were in one cell, number 1.
Cosmiccat, Sopho, Smelena and her husband, who had hidden amongst the women, were in the cell next to it, number 2.
In the third cell was Anie, Sassyaspie, Cosmiccat and Irulan. In the fourth, ShadesOfMe, KristaMeth, Belle77 and Star. In Cell 5, Starr, CockneyRebel, Netish and Renaeden. In cell 6: RainSong, IdahoRose, bc1 and SpaceCase. In the other cells it was mostly newbies, a few familiar faces.
Age1600 had passed out in Cell 9 after having to hold her bleeding wounds for so long, but she had so many she couldn't hold them all at the same time. Some women in cells 13, 14 and 15 were shouting that they were just the parents of Autists and Aspies, from Asd-forum.org, they weren't even members of WrongPlanet, or even knew anyone on there, could they please be let go?

... a motor boat?
Bc1 stood up on the toilet to take a look. SpaceCase climbed up onto the adjoining sink, and the other two craned to see.
Before they could look down, someone's hand pounded on the window and motioned for them to open it. Bc1 opened the window and grabbed the hand. Then she looked down... and her face fell.
The forty or so occupants of the boat were thin and haggard, their clothing in tears, their hair matted. These weren't rescuers. They were castaways.
The woman whose hand Bc1 was holding spoke. "Please help us. We've been adrift for thirty-four days."
Meanwhile, in the graveyard, deep-techno was still pondering over TheAPERSON's name. Before he could think anymore, the ground collapsed below him.
He had fallen into a trap!

"Do you know where TheAPERSON is?" asked deep-techno.

Back on the ship, the inner door opened as the outer door closed, the long drawbridge going up. Two guards fastened it from the inside; the prisoners could hear shouting.
The ship began to move almost immediately after.
People were filing into the prison room. Covered in soot, dressed in rags. Women. Some with their hair chopped off or shaved, others with their hair a matted, sooty mess. They were all very thin, but not skeletal.
"I don't believe it! I don't believe it!" one of them cried.
"Sinsboldly!" shrieked Smelena.
"There are more WP members in the other holding room, downstairs," Sinsboldly said. "It's their shift now. We're stokers. The other half of them are working in the kitchen and outside fishing with huge nets. The only ones that get to wash themselves are the cooks and the people who clean the a**holes' cabins."
"What will they have us doing?" Smelena asked.
"Who knows. Sometimes they throw people overboard when there are too many for the jobs. So you'd better GET jobs fast."
Several of the women gasped, including the ones outside in the motorboat, which Smelena noticed was now attached to the ship by a bedsheet rope coming in through the window and tied around the base of the toilet.
"Another thing you have to watch out for is storms. They send us all on deck to help out when there's a storm. Last time twenty-seven of us fell overboard.
More gasping. A young girl uttered a dry sob. "Anyone we know?" Gwenevyn asked.
Sinsboldly sighed, looked depressed, and nodded.
"Cheer up, Merle," Kitsy, another of the inmates covered in soot, said. "I thought you were wise and sensible enough to know that we'll all end up overboard in the end."
"I was sweeping the floor of the hold, and saw jugs of gasoline stacked up to the ceiling," 9CatMom said. "It's definitely going to happen."
"I have a proposition to make!" a woman shouted from the lifeboat outside. "We-- half of us go in there to take some of your places, and half of you can come in here, and for that, you give us all food!"
"Who works in the kitchen?" Graelwyn said.
"I do!" Kitsy said.
"NO!" some people in the lifeboat shouted. "We're fine fishing! We even have a water de-salter! We don't need their bloody food!"
"My-- son-- is-- starving!" one woman out there argued. "He won't eat fish! He hates fish! He throws up whenever he tries to eat it!"
"Then just leave your bloody son in there with them!"
"They'll kill him! You heard what the lady said... they're gonna throw them overboard!"
"Strewth" said Bazza, not previously realising all this drama was unfolding around him as he sunk a few tinnies of VB with Tequila by the barbie.
Just then, Bazza and the Profesor were thrown overboard with the other old farts.
