Feel that Asperger diagnoses is incorrect.

In My personal opinion I would consider myself to have PDD-NOS or ADHD-Innattentive Type
( ADD ) or maybe even Schizoid Personality Disorder for various reasons, the most compelling reason is that well I'm not smart AT ALL, and one of the diagnostic criteria for asperger's is a normal level of intellectual function, I personally blame the special education system for my lack of academic success but anyways thats about all I can say.

Okay. But the smartness thing for Aspergers doesn't really work except for separating them from autistics and using a particular kind of smartness. So if the diagnosis is an issue for you, you may want to keep investigating.

Why are you so quick to dismiss your own intelligence? What are you using the word "smart" to mean? Intelligence and "academic success" do not necessarily coincide.

OK THAT COMBINATION ALONE SCREAMS AS or at least HFA!! !! You don't have to be a genius to have AS, actually a lot of ASD people have LDs which can make their IQ seem lower. In combination with what you think you have if you've got any special interests, and have difficulties socializing than you probably do have AS.
