I tend to think of my physical self as sort of a pet that I'm permanently responsible for, subject to punishment by the universe if I neglect it.
Do you know of anyone else in your family who has unusual perceptions? Anyone who's somehow "eccentric" but not apparently autistic? Anyone with schizophrenia? Can you relate to any of this or this?
If your answer to one or more of those questions is "yes", then there's a pretty good chance that the things you described are schizotypal traits. I've been diagnosed with both ASD and schizotypal disorder at different times. In my case I think it really just boils down to interpretation. "Schizotypy" is correlated with schizophrenia in the family, and that's pretty consistent across studies, but otherwise I'm pretty sure it would be simply considered as a form of ASD today (and maybe someday it will). There's a lot of overlap.
