I don't see why this is a bad thing. I think what you're attracted to is something that was designed to be attractive in ways that can't happen in reality. If you are attracted to one of these characters, then the author has done his job. Once you get used to seeing these characters, real people become less extraordinary because of their inability to live up to the power of characters in fantasy.

Then you both have the same problem which can only lead to disappointment and loneliness.

When did I say I was waiting for some godlike comic book character to fall in love with me? When did I even tell you what I'm attracted to?

Ahh.. do you mean all those cute girls in the Japanese Aname Manga comics or cartoons?

The ones who look about 12 years old but have fully developed bodies, big eyes and wear schoolgirl sailor suits?

How could I possibly be attracted to them?

As an artist I'm in love with this art style :)

It has a liquid/solid and realistic/fake look that I can't explain very well. I like it very much... the girl is okay I guess :P

Somewhat. As a kid (1960's), I had a thing for astro boy, speed-racer and Mr. X, and marine boy - wanted to marry them all. I think I was actually a little nut - no wonder why I had no friends. I've since accepted that and learned to love myself after all these years.

:D I think the OP meant regular cartoon characters not the sexualized ones from Japan. Japan in general always sexualized small things.
