I had stopped talking to her after that convo above, but she was in Nebraska at the time. When she returned home, she was asking me if I still wanted to talk to her. I said no. Then she replied saying that there was something important and she wanted to talk to me. I said I didn't want to be friends anymore and it was time to move on, since we're on different levels of what we want to be.

I come home from work, and find a lengthy message in my Facebook inbox. She in summary: came home from the airport, refused to get out of the car, punched her husband in the nose, sat in the street crying for 20 minutes, then started driving to Massachusetts - only turning around once I said I didn't want to be friends anymore. She figured stalking me would be a bad idea.

So now I got a lengthy apology from her, for getting me all in this mess and failing to see what I was doing before.

GET OUT NOW!! ! or you'll be a "SUCKA"! Women in that situation do it all the time to nice guys. If you think she a poor baby think again cuz that's what you'll be if you stick your fat weiner in that situation!

Furthermore: Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife. Thou shalt not comitt adultery.
Her husband will skin you alive!....even if he can't stand her and cheats on her...it's a matter of ego not love. So c'mon cowboy, find yourself a nice single, childless women and make her your own. Make some babies from your own body. Go with this: Homewreckers always get F'd in the end, and you have a lot of daggoned nerve to get between a family.

I agree with hyperlexian and RightGalaxy on this point (maybe not the 'nice guy' thing, but that's another issue); do not ever contact this woman again. Please don't reply to that facebook message and block her completely (keep it though; in future you'll see what a bullet you dodged).

Sorry, but relationships end sometimes, and it can affect people badly, but that is no excuse whatsoever to hit her husband. That's abuse (and the poor guy! Punched in the nose because the guy she's having an emotional affair with 'dumped' her!). Her violence tells us that at best, she's mentally disturbed and at worst, an absolute b***h.

It's not your responsibility to do damage control here; yes, you acted badly at times, but you've tried making amends and you have every right to walk away from a friendship/relationship that's not working out.

Yeah, I hope I'm done here and I'm left alone. This was a bad situation to get involved with and foolish on my part.

Single, 20 something, and kid free - that's the way for me. No more fooling around with anything else out of desperation, I've learned quite a lot in the last few months.
