I don't know about that. You just have to make an effort to find something about it that is related or appealing to others. My husband can bore my socks off talking about different classes of trains, but since he is often doing this while we are sitting in a nice cafe in a European city I haven't visited before, it is ok.
I guess for someone with AS it might be more difficult to do but maybe you should brainstorm topics that you are interested in, then think of ways you can branch out from there. Maybe try a mind map. Unless your only interest is something like collecting your own spit and toenails and you are so bored by everything else in the world that you can't even stand to talk about it, then you will have an interest that you can share with someone else.
