:D lol  Fantasist!

God was invented to expain the unknown, we now have science. I wouldn't have gone here if it wasn't for the dismissive comments about atheists but I can assure you I will never reach that conclusion but we will both have the same end.

We only argued because athiests told us we were flat out wrong when they don't actually know.

To be fair, we have more evidence but that isn't the point. I'll admit I've not read all responses but I take it personally when people tell me what will and won't happen to me, particularly when I'm pretty certain it's BS. I personally posted a genuine 'soul mate' response and only read after my posting.

I guess I believe differently. I believe the soul is something that is not really related to what is happening in the material world, it is sort of like water inside a vessel. I dont think there is anything anyone can really do to make God come nearer, or gain spiritually, as we will return to the source anyway.

I'm in the same boat. Also what evidence is there that nothing spiritual exists? I can't see how they could even start to get any "evidence" for that.

Obviously there can't be evidence that nothing spiritual exists, much the same as there's no evidence that the loch ness monster doesn't exist. The thing is, as intelligent creatures we have no need to prove these fantasies anymore. The evidence I was reffering to was regarding evolution over creation but I really think this is heading in the wrong directon for a reationship topic. I stay away from the religion section as I know I could very easily offend people as I cannot ignore even the smallest fantasist comment and it's not my intention to rub people the wrong way, I thought this topic was using the term 'soul mate' in a general way.

Most people wouldn't dispute that evolution exists. I believe very firmly in evolution, its how animal species survive. Spirituality in my beliefs - is mutually exclusive to evolution in most ways.

I am not Christian nor do I follow their beliefs.

Well many full on religious types would, I never accused anyone of anything - just responded to posts after my response.
But, as I said earlier - I cannot not help but bite on the carrots dangled before me - EVOLUTION is the reason the species survive, the ones that evolve into something which can no longer exist, die out. Man may begin to change that by retaining species in protected environments but that is an entirely different matter.

Logic always wins over belief.

I agree.. but to me "god" is a huge source of positive energy at its peak (pure love) and not some Christian thing. I think Christians are nearly as bad as athiests (in my opinion) but i won't go there.

For some athiests It will take them until the next golden age before they are able to ascend or begin to.. im trying to do everything I can in this life to make ascending develop as far as possible.

Yeah. Christians ARE just as bad as atheists. Read what I wrote in the God thread. I explain that God is actually a powerful form of energy.

At the top of the pyramid science and religion meet to prove a transcendent point, so you are right about the end. You will reach the same conclusion because everyone does. You won't evolve unless you do.

You are so delusional it's painful. We live our lives as long as we can, we then die. Regardless of any daft fantasies we have inbetween, we'll all dies in similar ways. Please don't try to convince me otherwise, you'll just look silly.

and the lochless monster and the soul are completely different. That is a horrible analogy. The soul can be proved. All you have to do is open your third eye and you can begin to expeirence the spiritual reality. This can be done through meditation, drugs, etc once you are ready and have dissolved the ego. Millions of people on earth have realized the existence of their soul. You can feel it through chakra work as well. Research, the spiritual path is open to all atheists. You can save many painful incarnations and learn about your soul in this lifetime or you can ignore me and suffer the consequences.

This is the first post that has actually made me laugh out loud!! !! ! Thanks!!

The concepts may be different, but they both come from the same place - the imagination.
Nobody has proven the existence of the soul and I implore you to not say so anywhere else for fear of you appearing a complete idiot.

There is proof all over the world and the internet of the existence of the soul. Meditate. I am giving you a direct practice to give you realization of your soul. It is up to you if you want to humble your ego and take my advice little one of no knowledge.

I think the only thing that proves is that you are delusional.

Meditation is not proof of the existence of the soul. It's a fool, staying in the same position for an extended length of time. If you cannot provide proof, then it does not exist. Don't give me instructions on how to 'find' it myself, I'm not about to search for a fantasy.
I'm perfectly 'humble', I don't have an inflated ego or anything else similar, I just don't believe any BS I'm fed.
