Talking to people you met while drunk...

I was at a ridiculously huge party last night and of course drank an insane amount of alcohol... it was good, I got to meet and talk to heaps of people and they were all really nice (one girl a little too nice). But the problem is, I need to make friends and I don't know what to say to these people now. They're really the only people I know here at university and I hate standing by myself... is it okay to approach them even though we met drunk at a party? What do I say?

i don't really have too much of an idea, even though i have been in the same situation several times in the past. you should say that you had a fun time and enjoyed their company, in your own words. and ask them what else they're into, possibly discuss current events... when and if you run out of things to talk about that you think will spark their interest.
